The Yankees have agreed on a contract with Aaron Judge, their second pick in the first round of the First-Year Player Draft, a baseball source told MLB.com on Thursday.

The Yankees have not confirmed the deal, which the source said would be worth $1.8 million, just above the slot value of $1,677,100 for the 32nd overall pick. The agreement should become official before Friday's deadline after Judge completes his physical.

Judge, a 21-year-old center fielder out of Fresno State, has imposing size at 6-foot-7 and 240 pounds. The right-handed hitter shows significant raw power and slammed 12 home runs in 206 at-bats as a junior with the Bulldogs. He hit .369 with a .461 on-base percentage and a .655 slugging percentage.

The Yankees already signed their top pick, third baseman Eric Jagielo, whom they selected at No. 26. They also have locked up left-handed pitcher Ian Clarkin, their final first-rounder at No. 33.
